Forest Enterprise Scotland - Venison

Only a handful of NTFP products in the entire world are certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council as being harvested in sustainable forests. Of these only one is registered in the UK - Scottish venison. The only producers of FSC-certified wild Scottish venison are Forest Enterprise Scotland.

(If retailers of this venison want to display the FSC label they have to pay a registration fee to the FSC, so only larger retailers are likely to do so.)
