Forest Enterprise Scotland - Venison

Only a handful of NTFP products in the entire world are certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council as being harvested in sustainable forests. The first to be registered in the UK is venison. The only producer of FSC-certified wild Scottish venison is Forest Enterprise Scotland.

(If retailers of this venison want to display the FSC label they have to pay a registration fee to the FSC, so only larger retailers are likely to do so.)
